The "Gino" corduroy sofa was inspired by an antique chair encountered on a trip.
It was created to provide the ultimate sitting comfort, a worn-in feel, and a presence that blends seamlessly into any space.

Based on basic European styles, the design is also made to blend in naturally with Japanese living spaces.

The best sitting comfort and a structure that won't tire you out even after long hours

The secret to the soft, enveloping comfort when you sit down lies in the interior of the back and seat cushions. The back cushion combines high-quality, soft feathers with low-rebound cotton. The airy, elastic fibers mix with the resilience of the feathers, allowing for both firm hold and durability.

The seat cushion consists of four layers of urethane foam covered with feathers and low-rebound cotton. The softness of the feathers and the firm urethane support the body, providing stable support without sinking in, reducing fatigue even after long hours of sitting, and minimizing internal shifting.

The most important part, the wooden frame that supports the cushions, uses a straight spring structure with excellent elasticity and durability that resists distortion caused by standing and sitting movements. The springs are supported by the surrounding wooden frame, making it a robust construction. Using woodworking techniques such as "reinforcement," "notching," and "bracing," each step is carefully handcrafted in Japan, ensuring consistent quality control.

Corduroy

This corduroy fabric was inspired by the well-worn texture of an antique Danish chair encountered on a trip, cultivated over many years.
It has a glossy finish and appropriate firmness, while its long pile and irregular nap create a rich, vintage-like appearance. It also boasts excellent moisture absorption, making it comfortable to use year-round.

Available in two colors: taupe and brown. Taupe is an elegant, nuanced color where brown and gray blend, recommended for modern spaces. Brown is a classic color that evokes warmth and naturally harmonizes with vintage furniture.

Canvas

Based on high-density canvas fabric used for sturdy ship sails, we repeatedly prototyped at a domestic factory to achieve a soft, vintage-like texture.
By applying paraffin processing (waxing) and bio-wash processing, it has a natural wrinkled and uneven appearance. While maintaining its firmness, it is soft and provides a comfortable sitting experience that firmly supports the body.

Available in two colors: khaki and beige. Khaki changes from a deep green to brown, and beige from a subdued shade to a soft beige, evolving its expression with use.

Tweed

This is a domestic recycled tweed woven from discarded fibers from factories. Its appeal lies in the depth of expression created by weaving together multiple colored threads and its elegant texture.
Its gentle hues and traditional appearance are timeless and naturally blend into various spaces, from vintage to natural.

Available in three colors: gray brown, brown beige, and black brown. Brown beige gives a soft, warm impression and pairs well with wooden furniture. Gray brown is a sophisticated, nuanced color combining gray and brown, creating a chic and refined space.
