About bringing in large furniture

When purchasing large furniture, it may not be possible to enter the room because the furniture cannot pass through the carry-in route. Please be sure to check the delivery route of the furniture before purchasing.

If it is difficult to carry in on the day due to a failure to check the delivery route in advance, it will be returned or carried in at a later date. Please note that we will not be responsible for any costs incurred during this process.

1. Check product size

Please check the "longest side" and "shortest side" in the [Size] column on the product page.
Especially the longest side of the product is important.

Taking Flow sofa oil leather 3P (above) as an example… The longest side: W1900 (width)
Shortest side: D760 (depth)
.
* "SH" is the height from the floor to the seat surface.

Items packed with cardboard or air mats will be 50-100mm larger than the product size when delivered. If the delivery route is full of the size of the product itself, it may not be possible to carry it to the entrance, so please check the size with a margin.

The approximate width required for the 3P delivery route for the above Flow sofa oil leather is
2000 x 860 (mm) .

2. Confirmation of delivery route

Let's simulate it after accurately grasping the passage width of the delivery route and the height of the ceiling.
There are many cases where unexpected obstacles make it impossible to carry-in, and there are many cases where it is possible to carry-in smoothly, so please refer to the chart below and measure the correct size first.

← → In the case of the red arrow line , three sizes of "width, depth, and height" are required.

Depending on the structure of the building and rooms, there may be areas other than those shown in this diagram that require size confirmation. Also, even if it is possible to carry in the product due to its size, it will require space for the person who will actually carry it in.
Please refer to the chart below for accurate measurements.

We have prepared a transport route confirmation sheet, so please make use of it. Download it here

elevator

If you live on the 2nd floor or higher, we will use the elevator to bring in your furniture, so please be sure to check the width and height of the elevator door as well as the height and depth of the interior ceiling .

front door

If you have a single door, please check the actual inside dimensions.
Please note that if the door only opens 90 degrees, the doorknob or mailbox may interfere with delivery.

Also, please check the depth of the corridor in front of the entrance. Depending on the direction in which the door opens, it may not be possible to carry in items.

Cases where it is not possible to carry in items in the hallway in front of the entrance

  • □ I can't open the door
  • □ If you open the door, you will not be able to pass through.
  • □ Cannot turn

aisle

Make sure the aisle width is greater than the shortest side of the product. Please check with a margin of about 10cm from the product size. If there is a bend in the aisle, please make sure that the width of the aisle and the corner (diagonal) are wide enough.

Protrusions such as doorknobs, lighting fixtures, switchboards, etc. may become obstacles. Subtract from the width of the aisle or hallway.

stairs

If there is no elevator or you cannot enter the elevator, use the stairs to carry in. First, check the width of the stairs (inward from the handrail if it has a handrail) and the height of the ceiling.

For straight stairs

If the width and height of the stairs are larger than the product size, basically you can carry it in.

For L-shaped stairs and U-shaped stairs (stairs with a landing)

Check the depth of the landing and the height of the ceiling.
If the depth of the landing is greater than the width of the product, or the height of the ceiling of the landing is greater than the length of the longest side of the product, you can basically carry it in. Even if the landing is narrow, if there are no side walls on the stairs and the product can be delivered from the bottom to the top, it is possible to carry it in.

for spiral stairs

There are various patterns for spiral staircases, and depending on the shape of the staircase and the size of the product, it may or may not be possible to carry it in, so please contact us in advance.

please note

  • Each item introduced so far is just an example of carrying in, and does not guarantee the possibility of carrying in. Please note.
  • Since the conditions for carrying in vary depending on the house, please be sure to check the actual carry-in route before purchasing.
