ANTRY INC. will celebrate its 25th anniversary on November 11, 2024.
Since our founding, we have always admired the eternally modern Ercol company and its furniture, which continues to grow in appeal over time.
We have been following in their footsteps for a long time, and we continue to respect them in all aspects, including design, technology, and management philosophy.
ANTRY has been purchasing vintage furniture overseas since its founding, and we were particularly excited to find the Ercole chair in the UK, as if searching for a treasure. Among them, the butterfly chair is my favorite and special chair among the many masterpieces. I've been looking for one for a long time, but in the past 25 years I've only found a few pairs.

BUTTERFLY CHAIR was designed by founder Lucian Ercolani in 1956. With its delicate curves and sophisticated sculptural design, it is a truly beautiful chair that continues to be loved as a mid-century classic.
The Butterfly Chair is now part of the L.Ercolani collection, a new collection that combines Lucien Arcolani's classic design with Ercol's iconic modern design.

For this custom-made stain finish, we mixed a special color that is not normally available in order to express the vintage texture that we love. In addition, as a limited edition item for this collaboration, it has been branded with a "branding iron" and has also been personally signed by Henry Tadros, Lucien's great-grandson and the current chairman of Ercol. Ta.
*Chairman: The head of an organization, such as the chairman of a company.

Just as we admired the Butterfly Chair and fell in love with the vintage world, nothing would make us happier than if the appeal of this chair became widely known and passed on to someone who will love and cherish it for a long time.
Sales are scheduled to start around October. Although the release date is still a little ways off, we have prepared a notification registration button on each product page to notify everyone of this special opportunity as soon as possible.
If you register, you will receive a notification email as soon as the sale starts, so please take advantage of it. Please feel free to register as this is not a pre-order sale.
About ercol
"Ercol" is very popular among a wide range of people, from vintage beginners to collectors.
A leading British furniture manufacturer founded in 1920 by Lucian Arcolani. Lucien, who was 32 years old at the time of the company's founding, was not only developing the business as a businessman, but also supporting the company as a designer and craftsman.

As a designer, Lucien has always pursued modern design, and as a furniture maker, he has achieved many accomplishments, including the successful mass production of the Windsor Chair, a traditional British bentwood chair.
Founded over 100 years ago, Ercol is still a long-established British furniture manufacturer still run by Lucien's family. It is carefully processed and assembled by skilled craftsmen at a factory in the UK. The appeal of ercol furniture is the perfect balance of comfort, functionality, and design.
Ercol's beautiful products, both new and vintage, continue to be loved by people regardless of time or fashion.
Message from ercol Chairman Henry Tadros
I am so happy to be working with Antry to celebrate our iconic Butterfly Chair with them on their 25th anniversary. It is wonderful to know that they have a deep appreciation of ercol and the pieces that my great grandfather designed so many years ago. And so to celebrate their incredible achievement I was very pleased to make this limited edition version of our iconic chair.
Doing a collaboration like this with Antry means that we are able to keep evolving the iconic designs of Lucian so many years after he first designed them. He would have loved to have known that we were launching this version of the Butterfly Chair with a store that has such respect to the classic forms and hopefully they will be cherished for decades to come by its customers.
Thank you to Mr Satoshi Fujisaki and the whole team at Antry for making this a reality.
Henry
To celebrate ANTRY's 25th anniversary, we are thrilled to be collaborating with them on this iconic butterfly chair.
I am so grateful that Antry deeply values ercol and the work that my great-grandfather designed all those years ago. And to celebrate their amazing milestone, we are proud to create this limited edition chair.
The collaboration with Antry allows Lucien's iconic designs to continue to evolve over the years. He would have been thrilled to know that he could be working with a store that cherishes this classic beauty to present a new version of the Butterfly chair. We sincerely hope that this chair will continue to be loved by Antry customers for many years to come.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Satoshi Fujisaki and everyone at Antry for their efforts in making this project a reality.
Henry

About this collaboration: ANTRY representative Satoshi Fujisaki
My first encounter with Ercol's president, Henry, began several years ago when I happened to meet him in France, when he was not yet the chairman.
Later, when he was appointed as the new chairman, I sent him a congratulatory message and told him, ``ANTRY is celebrating its 25th anniversary,'' and President Henry responded, ``We would be happy to help you celebrate your 25th anniversary.'' As a result of this discussion, we have come to realize this 25th anniversary collaboration chair. I am filled with gratitude to President Henry, who also autographed the backs of all the seats in limited quantities that we were able to prepare this time.
The existence of Ercol, which has been producing beautiful, easy-to-use furniture that customers will love for a long time for over 100 years, is an aspiration and a major goal.
ANTRY is finally 25 years old. Although we are still not at the level of Ercol, one of my current goals is to be an attractive company that continues to be loved for many years to come.
