The corduroy sofa "Gino" was born from inspiration drawn from an antique chair encountered during a trip.
It was created to offer supreme comfort, a vintage texture, and a presence that seamlessly blends into any space.

Based on European basic styles, the design has been refined to blend seamlessly into Japanese living spaces.

Supreme comfort and a structure that prevents fatigue even after long hours

The secret to the comfortable, enveloping feeling when you sit down lies within the back and seat cushions. The back cushion is a blend of high-quality, soft feathers and low-rebound cotton. The combination of elastic fibers that easily trap air and the restorative power of feathers achieves both firm support and durability.

The seat cushion consists of four layers of urethane foam covered with feathers and low-rebound cotton. The softness of the feathers and the firm urethane support the body, providing stable support without sinking. This reduces fatigue even after long hours of sitting and minimizes internal shifting.

The most important part, the wooden frame that supports the cushions, features a straight spring structure with excellent elasticity and durability, designed to withstand distortion caused by sitting and standing movements. The springs are supported by the surrounding wooden frame, resulting in a robust construction. Using woodworking techniques such as "reinforcement," "notching," and "holding," every detail is meticulously handcrafted through all stages of production in Japan, ensuring reliable quality control.

The well-worn fabric of an antique chair encountered during a trip possessed a texture and flavor that could only be created by decades of continuous use, passed from person to person. Inspired by such a Danish antique chair, we produced our corduroy fabric.

Although corduroy typically features a lustrous sheen and firm elasticity, this fabric has a vintage finish with longer pile and an uneven pile texture. With continued use, you can cultivate its original texture.

Taupe is a chic and sophisticated color. The exquisite blend of brown and gray creates a nuanced shade that isn't just cool, but also inspires affection. It's also recommended for modern interiors.
