• We use unpainted solid teak wood. Contact with moisture may cause stains. If you are using it for food or for applications that come into contact with water, please wash it thoroughly with a soft sponge, dry it thoroughly, and then apply vegetable oil (linseed oil, olive oil, etc.) before use. When doing this, please be aware that the oil will add shine and deepen the color.
  Also, even if you are working with oil, it may stain if you place something with moisture or oil on it. If you wish to place items that contain moisture or oil, please do so at your own risk, such as by placing water-absorbent or oil-absorbing paper on the item.
• Solid teak has the ability to adjust moisture in the air, and expands and contracts repeatedly. As the moisture content fluctuates depending on the environment and the size and shape change easily, gaps in seams, warping, bending, and cracks appear.
• The oil contained in the wood may sometimes appear on the surface like a stain.
