Octagonal Mug

A special white octagonal cup & saucer and mug. I used a glossy, warm, slightly yellowish white glaze. It looks more like the color of French antique white vessels.

A bluish gray with a nice texture like the blue rust of copper. The subtle hues that appear when brown, blue, and white are mixed and changed in the kiln are unique, creating a wonderful scenery on the surface of the vessel. It is the perfect vessel for coordinating a table with a cool image.

The brass color has a light color and texture that makes you think of antique metal tableware that you can't believe is ceramic. Each time you use it, the color of the container changes little by little due to oil and acid, making it a container that grows. It's a fun color to watch as it ages.
