• Unfinished solid teak wood is used. Contact with moisture may cause stains. When using for purposes involving food or moisture, wash well with a soft sponge before use, dry thoroughly, and then apply plant-based oils (such as linseed oil or olive oil) before use. Please note that the oil will add gloss and deepen the color during this process.
  Also, even if oiling work has been done, placing items with moisture or oil on it may cause stains. When placing items with moisture or oil, please place absorbent paper or similar and proceed at your own responsibility.
• Solid teak wood adjusts moisture in the air and repeatedly expands and contracts. Due to changes in moisture content depending on the environment, it tends to change in size and shape, which appears as gaps at joints, warping, bending, and cracks.
• The oils contained in the wood may appear on the surface like stains.
