ARMEN was founded in 1948 in Quimper, Brittany in western France, as a factory that produced school uniforms and workwear.
Its name comes from the lighthouse "Ar-Men", which was built in a reef off the westernmost coast of France, not far from the Quimper region, and which continues to withstand rough seas while protecting the safety of ships.
For more than half a century since our establishment, we have aimed to create workwear that can withstand harsh environments like this lighthouse.
