Gino Sofa Corduroy

A proud corduroy sofa inspired by an antique chair encountered during my travels.

GINO was born in search of the ultimate seating comfort, a new yet used texture, and an appearance that blends in with any space. The design maintains the basic European style and blends seamlessly into Japanese living spaces.

Wrapped in the warmth of antiques

The well-worn fabric of an antique chair I came across during my travels had a texture and flavor that could only come from being used by people for decades. Inspired by such a Danish antique chair, we created a corduroy fabric.

Corduroy is characterized by its luster and firm elasticity, but its long pile and uneven coat give it a vintage-style finish. By continuing to use it, you can develop it into an original texture.

There are two colors: brown and green. The more you use them, the more the colors will become richer.

Corduroy is often thought to be hot in the summer, but it is moisture-absorbing and keeps the surface dry, so it can be used all year round. You can use it for many years, so you can deepen your love for it while enjoying the texture of the fabric and the expressive colors that change over time.

It is fully covered, so you can change the color and fabric by using covers sold separately .

The best seating comfort and openness

The secret to the comfort that makes you feel fluffy when you sit is inside the cushions on the back and seat. The back cushion is made of high-quality, soft feathers and low-resilience cotton. A mixture of elastic fibers that easily contain air and the resilience of feathers, making it possible to achieve both a firm hold and durability.

The seat cushion is made of 4 layers of urethane foam covered with feathers and low-resilience cotton. The softness of the feathers and the urethane core support your body, giving you a sense of stability that won't sink in, making it less tiring even when sitting for long periods of time, and reducing internal twisting.

The framework of the wooden frame that supports the most important cushion uses a straight spring structure with excellent elasticity and durability that will not succumb to distortion caused by standing movements. It has a strong structure because the spring is supported by the surrounding wooden frame. Using woodworking techniques such as "reinforcing," "notching," and "pressing," the entire process is done by hand with careful attention to detail, and is finished under reliable quality control throughout the entire process in Japan.

The sofa is always the centerpiece of any space, whether it's a home or an office. We sought the highest quality materials, structure, design, and seating comfort because this is a piece of furniture that we spend precious time with, whether it's relaxing alone or having a lively conversation with a group of people.

Relaxed but modest

The arms are made as thin as possible to provide plenty of space to relax. 2P compact and easy to use for single people. 2.5 seats with plenty of room for two adults. We also have a 3P lineup that allows men to lie down comfortably. You can choose from a variety of options to suit your lifestyle.

Each sofa can also be combined with an ottoman . You can arrange the 2P sofa with an ottoman to create an L-shape and lie down. In the living room, you can combine the 3P sofa with the 1P sofa to create a special atmosphere for family gatherings.

The cushion designed for Gino is also available to make your relaxing time even more luxurious. It is large and has just the right amount of hardness, so you can adjust the arm height and seat depth. It is suitable for adults and children of all builds, so you can enjoy watching movies for long periods of time or reading in the same position.

There are two types of solid oak legs: "Rokuro legs" and "Square legs." The sophisticated silhouette of the potter's wheel legs creates a vintage-style space. The orthodox square legs create a simple and modern room. It can be matched with a variety of interior styles.

Regarding the change to a knockdown style

This is an option to change to a removable arm (2.5P, 3P only). If the sofa is too large to fit into the delivery route, removing the arm from the main unit will change the shape and make it easier to transport. Once installed in your room, it looks and feels the same as a regular sofa.
