The GINO II comes in two sizes: 3P and 2.5P. We designed it so you can choose the right size for your room and lifestyle, while still enjoying the same spacious, deep seating and comfort for lounging.

How to choose your size

GINO II 3P

This size comfortably seats three adults side by side. It's recommended for families with frequent guests or living rooms where the whole family relaxes together.

GINO II 2.5P

This size is easy to fit into compact spaces and comfortably seats two adults. While it minimizes bulk, it's wider than a typical two-seater sofa, making it also ideal for families to relax together.

Luxurious, enveloping comfort

The back cushions combine down and silicone cotton. This blend reduces the common sinking and flattening issues of pure down, while maintaining the same enveloping softness. The high resilience of silicone cotton also helps the cushions retain their beautiful shape.

The seat cushions feature high-density chipped urethane and high-specific gravity, viscous soft urethane beneath a layer of down. This achieves both soft seating comfort and stable body support. This is an evolution to an even more luxurious seating experience than previous models.

It's designed to prevent fatigue even after long periods of sitting, and you can even lie down on it comfortably. It offers comfortable support whether you're spending time alone or with others.

Beautifully sturdy, growing more beloved with use

The wooden frame uses solid German beech wood, Lauan plywood, and LVL plywood (laminated veneer lumber). Under the seat, an S-spring structure, excellent in elasticity and durability, resists distortion caused by repeated sitting and standing.

We meticulously adhere to careful handcraftsmanship for every detail, with all processes completed in-house in Japan, ensuring reliable quality.

About the fabric

Original Corduroy (Taupe / Brown)

The fabric of an antique chair we encountered on a trip possessed a unique texture and character that could only be achieved through decades of use, passed down from person to person. Inspired by that Danish antique chair, we created this original corduroy.

While having a glossy appearance and firm elasticity, its long pile and uneven nap create a vintage-like look. With continued use, it will develop a unique character all your own. It's absorbent, keeping the surface smooth and comfortable even in summer, making it pleasant to use all year round.

Taupe: A chic and mature nuanced color blending brown and gray. It's a lovable shade that isn't too cool, perfect for modern interiors.

Brown: Our most popular basic color. It gives a gentle impression in simple spaces and seamlessly blends into rooms with many vintage furnishings.

Original Tweed (Gray × Brown / Brown × Beige / Black × Brown)

This eco-friendly Japanese-made recycled fabric is woven from fibers discarded at the factory. Its deep hues and timeless, elegant look blend into any space.

Since it's a fully removable cover type, you can change the fabric or color with separately sold covers.

Care instructions

The back cushions are designed to be reversible. Regularly rotating them top-to-bottom and front-to-back will help prevent them from losing their shape and maintain their beautiful form for longer. If you notice the down becoming uneven, simply reverse the cushion as it has a zipper.
