Regular care
A sofa that you use every day is an important piece of furniture that brings comfort to your daily life. We will introduce you to the correct care methods for each fabric, cushion, and wood part so that you can use it for a long time, keeping it tasteful and comfortable.
For daily maintenance, you can use household cleaning tools such as a vacuum cleaner. However, if you leave stains for a long time, they will be difficult to remove, so be sure to deal with them as soon as possible.
Canvas / Corduroy
- Remove dust and other surface dirt with a vacuum cleaner or brush.
- Use the adhesive roller gently and slowly.
- If you tap it with both hands to let air in, it will return to its original shape.
- If you spill a drink, etc., wipe it off by dabbing the canvas with a wrung out cloth. Corduroy absorbs moisture instantly, so don't rub it; pat it dry with a towel.
- Avoid direct sunlight as it will cause the color to fade.
- Ironing is fine, but be sure to use a pressing cloth.
Other Fabrics
- Remove dust and other surface dirt with a vacuum cleaner or brush.
- Adhesive rollers are not recommended as they can damage the fabric.
- If you spill a drink, etc., wipe it off by dabbing it with a well-wrung cloth.
Oil leather / Oil-finished tanned leather
Since it is easy to collect dirt and dust, daily cleaning should be done by gently tapping the surface with a soft towel, brush, etc., or removing dust with a vacuum cleaner.
- Carefully remove dust from the surface and between the seams with a vacuum cleaner.
- Vacuuming will help change the air and prevent moisture buildup.
- If you spill a drink, etc., wipe it off by dabbing it with a wrung out cloth.
- To prevent cracks due to dryness, please maintain your leather regularly with maintenance products.
- As this is natural leather, there may be slight color differences and natural marks (natural marks) due to individual differences, but please note that this is a characteristic of the product.
- Avoid direct sunlight as it may cause discoloration.
- Shoe cleaners and other similar products can also cause discoloration, so are strictly prohibited.
cushion
- To prevent cotton and feathers from accumulating, periodically pound or knead the entire surface to fluff it up and return to its original shape.
- During periods of high humidity, drying the bag in the shade on a sunny day will remove the moisture inside.
- The diagram above shows the care method common to all fabrics. If you spill something such as a drink, please refer to the instructions for each fabric.
Wood / Metal
- Use a dry, soft cloth to remove any dust or dirt from the surface.
- Avoid wiping oil-painted tables with water.
- If the surface of the wood becomes dry, we recommend using wax.
- When wiping metal parts with water, use a cloth that has been wrung out tightly to remove dirt, and be sure to wipe dry so that no moisture remains.
Please be careful not to place hot objects or glasses with water droplets directly on the wooden armrest as this may cause ring stains.
