The "Capt Chair" is named after the abbreviation "Cap" of the Campten chair, which is the design root of the Windsor Campten chair. The armchair is finished as simply as possible using bentwood technology, without a single useless part.
The backrest with integrated arms and the rear legs that extend smoothly are made from a single piece of bent wood, creating a masterpiece that is both flexible and strong. It is a simple chair filled with the skills of Hida Takayama craftsmen.
The more you take care of it while enjoying the aging process, the more attractive it becomes and the longer you can use it. The timeless and simple design goes well with vintage furniture.
One of the unique features and commitments of this chair, which is carefully manufactured one by one, is the seat board. The seat is countersunk so that you won't feel tired even if you sit for a long time. Moderate inclination and the balance of the backrest are outstanding, too.
