The Butterfly chair is a perfect embodiment of the L.Ercolani tradition
Designed by Lucian Ercolani, 1956
This is a collaboration chair for the ANTRY 25th Anniversary Edition. ANTRY's beloved BUTTERFLY CHAIR was ordered from ercol, including a special color.
The seat of this model is upholstered in Main Line Flax, a fabric from the British fabric manufacturer Camira. It is made from pure virgin wool, spun for the first time from sheep's wool that contains no recycled wool, blended with 25% linen. The beautiful mixed yarn is dyed after spinning. The colors were developed with inspiration from rare stones. The fibers are soft and smooth to the touch, resulting in a comfortable finish.

Founded 50 years ago, Camira is a British fabric manufacturer. They manufacture and sell upholstery for offices, schools, shops, hospitals, and public transportation (trains, buses, etc.). They use natural materials such as wool, linen, and silk, and produce everything from twisting the yarn to weaving it in their own factories. Camira's high-quality fabrics are used in over 80 countries around the world.
[Maintenance]
Vacuum regularly, wipe with a damp cloth using fabric shampoo and soap, or have it steam cleaned or professionally dry cleaned for more gentle care.
