A teak and paper cord dining chair that combines the warmth of wood with the beauty of weaving

This dining chair combines the rustic with the refined, featuring a recycled teak frame and a paper cord seat.
The form, with its well-balanced straight and curved lines, and the regularly woven seat create a quiet rhythm in the space.

The seat is made of paper cord, a natural material created by twisting paper. It has been a beloved material in Scandinavian furniture for a long time, and is surprisingly flexible and durable. One of its charms is that it gradually softens and conforms to your body with use.
The surface is coated with resin, so minor spills can be wiped away quickly to prevent stains, making it suitable for everyday use.

The frame is made from recycled teak wood that has been dried over many years. It retains the knots and color variations unique to solid wood, and its color and luster deepen with age, allowing you to enjoy its changing appearance over time.
The sharp texture of the paper cord and the warmth of the wood complement each other, blending seamlessly into various spaces, from natural to minimalist to vintage.

The seat has a slightly trapezoidal shape, tapering elegantly towards the backrest, giving it a sleek impression.
The gently curved backrest and slightly sloped seat gently cradle the body, making it comfortable not only for mealtimes but also for leisurely sitting.
The open back design prevents a feeling of oppressiveness, creating a light and airy presence.

The arm version allows you to rest your arms and relax, and also provides support when sitting down or standing up.
The armless version fits easily under tables and offers a neater appearance. It is also stackable, which is a convenient feature for guests.
It pairs well with the "Oak Tapered Leg Table" and "Coupe Dining Table," and even the arm chair version can be balanced harmoniously.

The seat is a natural beige color. It harmonizes with the wood color, creating a soft and unified impression. It's a color that evokes the warmth of the material itself. It pairs well with natural and minimalist interiors, creating a calming atmosphere.
Over time, the cord may stretch or loosen slightly due to body weight, but this is a natural change due to the characteristics of the material. Generally, it can be used comfortably for about 10-15 years.
Much of the manufacturing process is done by hand, and the expertly woven seats each have a subtle, unique character.
A piece that quietly asserts its presence while becoming an integral part of your daily life.
Please enjoy the deepening texture as time goes by.
