The "carew chair" features a deep curved backrest and short arms. The wide seat sinks in just the right amount, providing a sense of stability. Its simple design is appealing and will fit naturally into any space, regardless of the era.

The backrest is made of molded plywood, a woodworking technique that layers thinly sliced ​​boards and then bends them. It curves deeply backwards, supporting your body as if wrapping around it. Molded plywood, which has beautiful curves and is lightweight yet highly durable, is a material that combines functionality and design, and is used in a variety of interior designs.

The short arms fit well under the table and are easy to get in and out of. There are fewer lines blocking the space, giving it a clean look.

At first glance, it may seem difficult to rest your elbows on, but the curve of the backrest is designed to allow your arms to be in just the right position when you sit back.

The lightweight design makes it easy to carry. You can also rest your elbows on the table top, making it easy to use.

The material used is walnut and birch, which has a deep color and unique grain, creating an elegant atmosphere.

The urethane finish makes it resistant to dirt, stains, and water, and is also scratch-resistant and easy to clean. If it becomes dirty, wipe it off with a cloth that has been wrung out tightly after soaking it in water.

There are two other wood colours to choose from: black and natural.

The seat is finished in PVC, making it stain-resistant and giving it a soft feel similar to natural leather.

You can use it as is, of course, but we also recommend changing up the atmosphere with the removable seat cover. The cover is available in three types and six colors.

About the cover fabric

"tweed"
This is an eco-friendly domestic upcycled material woven from waste fibers from factories. This is ANTRY's original tweed fabric. The unique weave pattern, which is made by weaving threads of different colors, creates a deep expression and a luxurious feel. The calm, classical expression matches a wide range of interior designs, from modern to traditional.

Corduroy
A high-quality domestically produced fabric with a vintage look, featuring long pile and uneven fur. The ridges characteristic of corduroy fabric create a warm feel. It is moisture-absorbent and keeps the surface dry, making it comfortable to use all year round. The durable corduroy fabric is both pleasant to the touch and practical, allowing you to enjoy the texture and expressive color tones that change over time as you use it for years, deepening your attachment to it.

Velour
A suede-like fabric that is smooth and soft to the touch, yet has a natural sheen that allows it to change appearance in multiple ways. It is scratch-resistant and has an environmentally friendly fluorine-free water-repellent function.
