The "carew chair" features a deeply curved backrest and shorter arms. The seat, designed to be wide, sinks moderately, providing stability. Its simple design naturally fits any era and space, which is its charm.

The backrest uses molded plywood, a woodworking technique where thin sliced boards are layered and bent. It curves deeply backward, supporting the body as if wrapping it. Molded plywood, which expresses beautiful curves, is lightweight yet highly durable, combining functionality and design, and is used in various interiors.

The shorter arms fit well under the table and allow smooth entry and exit. With fewer lines obstructing the space, it gives a neat impression.

At first glance, it may seem difficult to rest your elbows, but the curve of the backrest is designed so that the arms come to just the right position when sitting deeply.

Designed to be lightweight, making it easy to carry. You can also hook your elbows on the tabletop, which is a convenient feature.

The material used is red oak, characterized by its strong and beautiful grain. It is finished with a black paint that gives a sharp impression. The calm black enhances the strength of the wood and creates a modern and chic atmosphere.

Because it is finished with urethane, it is resistant to dirt, stains, and moisture, hard to scratch, and easy to care for. When dirt becomes noticeable, please wipe it with a cloth dampened with water and wrung out tightly.

You can also choose from two other wood colors: dark brown and natural.

The seat surface is finished with PVC, making it resistant to dirt and featuring a moist texture like natural leather.

You can use it as is, of course, but it is also recommended to enjoy changing the atmosphere with a removable seat cover. You can choose from 3 types and 6 colors of covers.

About the cover fabric

Tweed
An eco-friendly domestic upcycled material woven from fibers discarded at the factory. This is ANTRY's original tweed fabric. A suede-like fabric with a smooth and moist touch that changes its expression in many layers due to its natural gloss. It is resistant to scratches and features a fluorine-free water-repellent function that is environmentally friendly.
