The "PARTS & SUPPLY Original Woodwork Series" is an original shelf series from PARTS & SUPPLY that uses rare solid oak wood.
This is a carefully crafted, original, Made in Japan item made using wood carefully sawn at a sawmill in Hokkaido, with decorated edges and oil painting done by artisans in PARTS&SUPPLY's local Osaka.

Famous as a material for interiors and furniture, oak is also collectively known as oak. While the commonly known white oak has a rough and powerful grain, oak grown in cold regions has a fine and smooth grain and a gentle impression.

By selecting wood with these characteristics as the material for the shelves and adding border decorations on three sides, we were able to create a shelf board that is modern yet has a vintage-like element. The shelf board, which has two design elements, can be used on both sides.

When the flat surface is used as the top surface, it gives a sophisticated and sharp impression. When the surface with the decorative border is used as the top surface, it gives a vintage-like impression. You can choose the finish of your choice to match your interior.

The unpainted type allows you to enjoy the change in color over time. As time passes, it will become more yellowish and turn amber.

Combine it with PARTS&SUPPLY's original brass hardware and enjoy creating a "growing interior."

This product is perfect for use with the P&S original item [Bent] Paper Holder series. By combining it with the shelf brackets of the [Bent] series, you can create a more unified look.

• Please note that due to the nature of natural wood, there may be individual differences in color, shade, and the presence or absence of knots.
• Oak is a hard material, so when combining it with shelf brackets or paper holders, please make sure to drill pilot holes before installing it. If you use brass screws, you may strip the screws if you do not drill pilot holes.
• When attaching the paper holder to the top of this product, please use screws of the appropriate length for the thickness of the board.
• The unpainted type allows you to enjoy the natural beauty of wood, but it is prone to changes such as cracking and warping due to drying.
• Please note that unpainted types may discolor or become sunburned over time or due to exposure to sunlight.
• Compared to oil-finished products, unpainted products are more susceptible to moisture and dirt from fingerprints. Wipe with a towel soaked in hot water or a tightly wrung towel, then wipe dry.
