The elegant shine of the aluminum frame quietly stands out

The "RIKI ALUMINUM CLOCK," featuring a lightweight yet solidly present aluminum frame, is captivating.
This clock was newly designed by Mr. Riki Watanabe, a pioneer of Japanese modern design, based on a prototype he was very attached to but never produced, revising the materials and structure while preserving his philosophy.
The sophisticated presence blends comfortably into your life, with a beauty that makes you want to look at it again and again.
A presence that inherits mid-century style

The base clock was a single clock that Mr. Watanabe gave to the Eames couple, designers representing the mid-century of the 20th century. At that time, the clock body presented to the couple was made of copper, but it was changed to aluminum to reduce weight, and the dial was also redesigned.

The polished cast aluminum frame has a metallic sheen unique to metal, yet it has an elegant finish with a calm glow. Simply hanging it in a living room with soft light or a study with wooden furniture tightens the space and creates a refined atmosphere.

The dial uses the DIDONI typeface, which matches mid-century and classic designs. The high-quality printing with a three-dimensional effect enhances the sharp contrast of the typeface, emphasizing not only visibility but also visual beauty.
Although it was discontinued once for various reasons, it has been revived with even more refined beauty. It is a timeless piece that does not fade even as time passes.
Can be hung on the wall or placed on a surface.
A clock that can be used in two ways

A dedicated stand is included so it can also be used as a tabletop clock.

The stand and the clock body are not fixed with screws or metal fittings, so you can enjoy the beautiful form as is, whichever way you use it.
Compact size with a diameter of about 16cm and a depth of about 5cm. It fits perfectly on cabinets or display shelves, and when hung on the wall, it doesn't feel imposing. The soft luster of the aluminum adds a subtle accent to the space.
Additionally, the sweep second hand (which moves smoothly) operates quietly, allowing you to use it without worrying about noise, making it well-suited for spaces like bedrooms and studies.
Designs by Riki Watanabe loved for a long time

The "RIKI CLOCK" series is one of the products that Riki Watanabe, who laid the foundation of Japanese modern design, enthusiastically worked on as a lifelong project even into his 90s. His creativity never waned in his later years, and the clocks and watches he designed continue to bring beautiful time to many people's lives today.
During the dawn of postwar Japanese design, Watanabe, who supported product design, valued perspectives such as harmony, scenery, and visibility, combining beauty and functionality in the tool of a clock.
The "Hibiya Dai-ichi Seimei Pole Clock" is known as Watanabe's representative work, recognized by himself and others, and it greatly influenced the subsequent form of public clocks. Its design is highly regarded by architects and designers both in Japan and abroad and continues to be supported today.
The "RIKI CLOCK" series is not only a tool to tell time but also a presence that gently complements the space. Its appearance, uncompromising in both visibility and beauty, leaves a lasting impression every time you look at it, making it a clock you want to cherish for a long time.
