A low table made of teak reclaimed wood that exudes the warmth of nature
The low table "Atelier Coal" features turning legs inspired by British vintage. The Coal table series is attractive for its tapered finish round tabletop and compact size.
The size is a compact 70×70 cm. Because it is a round tabletop, it is easy to gather around at a comfortable distance when several people come together, making it useful in various scenes.
The round tabletop without corners gives a soft impression to the space and instantly enhances the room's atmosphere. The smoothly polished tabletop, which is rounded yet sharp in appearance, feels good to the touch, and its gloss increases with each care, making its aging process enjoyable.
Also, since it is made using the "jointing method" where multiple pieces of natural wood cut into boards are joined together, the grain and color shades of adjacent boards differ, creating a rich expression, which is another highlight.
The edges of the tabletop are finished with a gentle angled cut called "taper finish." The rounded edges feel comfortable to the touch, look neat, and provide a pleasant finish.
The material used is precious "recycled teak," which has been revived from high-quality wood that has been used for furniture and interior materials for many years. After harvesting, teak wood's moisture content decreases over time, making it harder and more durable. The deep texture created by aging is also an attractive feature of this material.
To preserve the features of recycled teak, such as scratches and processing marks left from years of use, processing is kept to a minimum. Each piece is a unique, one-of-a-kind product carefully finished by craftsmen. You can enjoy the vintage texture unique to recycled teak.
About the product
With adjustable feet, it can be installed level even on uneven surfaces where wobbling is a concern.
Made using the "jointing method" where several pieces of solid wood cut into boards are joined together, resulting in visible grain boundaries and possible color variations between boards.
Each product has unique features such as variations in color intensity, wood grain patterns, and knots. Some boards may have knot-filling treatment applied.
This product features the natural characteristics as part of its design. Each product varies, intentionally preserving the roughness unique to natural wood and handcrafted work.

Wood care
For regular care, use a tightly wrung damp cloth. Using wax or beeswax wax for natural wood is also recommended.
Precautions
- Due to the nature of the material, there are many dowel holes, screw holes, chips, and scratches in multiple places. Please understand this in advance.
- This product has significant individual differences, but we cannot accept requests for specific colors or features in the online store.
- Teak wood has the property of regulating moisture in the air, repeatedly expanding and contracting. Due to changes in moisture content depending on the environment, it is prone to changes in size and shape, which may appear as gaps at joints, warping, bending, or cracking.
- To protect against floor scratches and wobbling, please adjust with felt pads or mats if necessary.
