Light floating in the space
By layering two curved shades that seem to draw you in, beautiful indirect light reflected on the material spreads throughout the space. Also, light is diffused downward by an acrylic plate, softly illuminating the necessary areas.
The shade is made of solid brass plate. Using a metalworking technique called "hera-shibori," this curved shade is created by pressing a roller called a hera against a rotating metal plate. Valuing the charm of the material itself, it is intentionally left uncoated, so its character changes over time as you use it.

- Each piece is handmade, so there may be inherent unevenness on the surface or slight individual differences in shape and texture.
- This product is exclusively for LED bulbs. Please note that incandescent bulbs cannot be used.
- The brass material is not coated to prevent oxidation, so fingerprints and the like are easily left on it. Over time, the material will develop a tarnished appearance, so please enjoy it as part of your daily life.

About aging changes |
- Products made of solid brass change color over time (aging). Please understand this as a characteristic of the material.
- Aging changes do not necessarily occur uniformly over the entire product and may initially cause unevenness. It takes time to blend overall, so please enjoy the process.
- In places exposed to rain or water splashes, rain streak patterns may appear on the surface.
- Parts touched with bare hands may cause discoloration, so we recommend wearing unused gloves made of soft material when handling.
- If you want to slow down the speed of aging changes, regularly applying beeswax wax can give a glossy finish and maintain the state at delivery to some extent. (* Beeswax wax cannot be used on clear-coated products. Please dry wipe with a dry cloth.)
* There may be aging changes before delivery. Please understand this as a characteristic of the material.
* The way and speed of changes vary depending on the installation environment.
* In regions where salt damage is possible, strong changes may occur.

Care Instructions

- If dust or dirt is a concern, wipe it dry with a soft, dry cloth. If the dirt is strong, you may wipe it with water, but be sure to dry wipe it afterward.
- If you are concerned about verdigris (a type of bluish-green rust), gently polish it with a brass polishing cloth. Avoid wiping with chemicals as it may cause uneven wiping marks.
- If rain or fingerprints have turned black, the blackened parts are not dirt but chemical changes, so they cannot be wiped off. Such marks accumulate and create an antique texture. Over time, as the overall color deepens, these marks will become less noticeable, so please watch over it for a while.
- If you are concerned about changed colors or patterns caused by water splashes and want to restore it to a clean state, you can use metal polish such as Pikal, but please understand that the texture will differ from the one at delivery before use.
- Many detergents and chemicals can affect metals, so please read the usage precautions listed on the product carefully before using them for maintenance.
