Material: Lightweight and Beautifully Grained Paulownia Wood
The design features a textured frame smoothly carved by craftsmen. The gentle texture that is not overly ornate is unique to the soft grain of paulownia wood.
Paulownia, long cherished in Japan for chests and other furniture, has large hollow spaces that provide high moisture resistance (humidity control) and contains a lot of tannin that repels insects, giving it insect-repellent properties. It is a suitable material for mirrors used in closets and bathrooms. Also, because it is not dense, it is lightweight and gives a simple impression. It blends quietly into the interior with a calm presence.
