Vintage-Like Shelf Board with Edge Decoration
The PARTS & SUPPLY original shelf board series "PARTS & SUPPLY Original Woodwork Series" uses rare solid oak wood (Nara).
Using wood carefully milled at a sawmill in Hokkaido, this original item is made in Japan with attention to detail, featuring edge decorations and oil finishes applied by craftsmen from PARTS & SUPPLY's hometown, Osaka.

Nara wood, also commonly called oak, is famous as a material for interiors and furniture. While the well-known white oak has a rough and powerful grain, Nara grown in cold regions has a fine and smooth grain, giving a gentle impression.

This wood, with such characteristics, was selected as the material for the shelf board. By applying edge decorations on three sides, a shelf board combining modern and vintage-like elements was completed. The shelf board with these two design elements can be used on both front and back sides.

When the flat surface is used as the top, it gives a refined and sharp impression. When the edge-decorated surface is used as the top, it gives a vintage-like impression. You can choose your preferred finish to match your interior.
This product is ideal for combination with the P&S original item 【Bent】 Paper Holder series. Combining it with the shelf brackets from the 【Bent】 series creates a more integrated look.

Notes
- Due to the nature of natural wood, there are individual differences in color, shading, and presence of knots. Please understand this in advance.
- Since Nara wood is a hard material, when combining with shelf brackets or paper holders, please drill pilot holes firmly before installation. When using brass screws, not drilling pilot holes may cause the screws to break.
- When mounting the paper holder on this product from the top, please use screws of a length suitable for the board thickness.
