A durable Wilton carpet woven on one of the world's rare looms.
Fisherman's Court is a rug brand by Horita Carpet, a long-established manufacturer founded in 1962. It is a top-quality domestic wool rug/carpet made with particular attention to the origin of the wool, sheep breed, and manufacturing method for each product.
The COURT series rugs have a soft yet firm feel underfoot, with deep colors and designs that blend into the interior, providing a subtle accent when laid in a space.
Compatible with floor heating and hot carpets.
The material is 100% wool mainly sourced from the UK. In addition to the comfort unique to natural fibers, it also excels in functionality. Although wool is associated with winter, it has moisture control and soundproofing effects, allowing you to enjoy a comfortable life with rugs/carpets throughout the year.
We offer a wide range of sizes so you can choose according to your room size and taste.
Features the rope-like pattern motif of the Fisherman's Sweater.
Fisherman's Court is a Wilton carpet woven by craftsmen called "weavers" on looms from the 1960s that are still carefully maintained and used today.
The design motif is the Fisherman's Sweater worn by British fishermen during winter sea work. The carpet weaving expresses the distinctive rope-like pattern.
The yarn is made using a technique called "cotton dyeing (watazome)", where the raw wool is dyed in various colors to create yarn, finished in colors that match the interior. Each is made soft and light, making it easy to handle when cleaning the rug, moving it, or airing it out. Laying the rug also helps gather dust and debris, preventing them from floating in the air.
Wide Range of Sizes
Sizes range from a compact 60×40cm perfect for the entrance to 200×300cm ideal for the living room. The rectangular 120×50cm type is also recommended for bedside or in front of closets. Choose according to your room and use.
Four functions of wool material to keep your rug beautiful and long-lasting
"Water-repellent effect" due to natural oils The natural cuticle effect of wool repels moisture, making it resistant to dirt and easy to clean.
"Humidity control" that also helps prevent condensation Because it is wool from sheep adapted to severe temperature differences, it comfortably regulates humidity, making the room air less stuffy and less dry.
Surface "Cleaning Function" for Loose Fibers The superfine hairs on the surface shed moderately and keep the surface always clean, so regular care with just a vacuum cleaner (roller type) is sufficient◎
"Strong fibers" with durability and resilience Because it is highly elastic natural wool, it can be restored with steam ironing or care even if it becomes worn.

If you spill drinks, try to absorb the stain as soon as possible with a dry cloth. For oil stains, use spot cleaning with hot water or a steam cleaner.
If dirt is a concern, please use a steam cleaner or consult a professional cleaning service.
Excessive washing can cause functional deterioration and stickiness.
Since wool is used in the pile yarn, fine fibers may come off during use due to the nature of the material. These fine fibers, called shedding, help remove dust and dirt from the carpet surface. Please vacuum regularly to remove shedding. Avoid using adhesive cleaners.
The back side is not treated with anti-slip processing. We recommend using commercially available anti-slip sheets for carpets.
Do not use near high-temperature items such as stoves or heaters.
Products with loop pile (where the fiber ends are looped) may catch your pet's claws. For those living with pets, we recommend products with cut pile (where the fiber ends are cut).
The "COURT" tag attached to the rug can be removed by the customer themselves.
