The material used is beech wood, which has been used for furniture and interiors in Scandinavia for centuries. It features a bright, light wood color ranging from pale pink to milky white with soft yellowish tones, along with a smooth, calm grain. It feels pleasant and smooth to the touch, allowing you to feel the warmth unique to natural materials.
As these are natural materials, the grain and color vary for each piece. You may see wavy grain patterns, speckled markings known as "tiger stripes," or black streaks, all of which are part of the rich character unique to solid wood. While beech wood is a species that does not undergo drastic changes, you can enjoy how it ages over time, with the pinkish hue settling into a slightly more yellowish tone as you use it.
Lighting comfort that changes with the hanging height
The cord length is available in two sizes to choose from based on your space and intended use. Another feature of pendant cords is that the way light spreads and the overall impression change significantly depending on the hanging height. For dining tables, we recommend positioning the bulb about 60cm above the table; in kitchens, about 60cm from the ceiling creates a comfortable brightness for the workspace while illuminating your hands. For restrooms or entryways, hanging it a bit higher to diffuse light widely is also recommended.
If the cord is too long, you can use a standard cord adjuster to change the height. Whether you want to create negative space by hanging them low or a clean look by keeping them slightly higher, enjoy balancing the design to fit your space.

Due to the wood processing, there may be slight roughness or splinters on the surface. If you are concerned about dirt, wipe gently with a dry cloth.
Some parts of this product use brass. Solid brass is a material that changes color as it is used over time. Please enjoy these changes as a sign of aging.
