A lighting cord adjuster featuring a modern form and the shine of brass.

Use this when the lighting fixture cord is too long or when you want to fix the lighting in a higher position.

Using it with a shade made of the same brass material or combining it with a brown cord will create a unified look.

Precautions

About the characteristics of products and materials

  • Products made from solid brass will change color over time (aging). Please understand that this is a characteristic of the material.
  • The aging process does not occur evenly across the entire product, and there may be some unevenness at first. It takes time for the aging process to blend in, so please enjoy the process.
  • In places where it is exposed to rain or splashes of water, raindrop patterns may appear on the surface.
  • Touching the product with bare hands may cause discoloration, so we recommend wearing unused gloves made of soft material when handling it.
  • If you want to slow down the aging process, you can periodically apply beeswax to give the item a glossy finish and maintain its original condition. (Note: Beeswax cannot be used on clear coated items. Please wipe with a dry cloth.)

*Severe changes may occur in areas prone to salt damage.

Care instructions

  • If you are concerned about dust or dirt, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. If the dirt is severe, you can wipe it with water, but be sure to wipe it with a dry cloth afterwards.
  • If you notice any verdigris (a type of blue-green rust) forming, gently polish it with a brass polishing cloth. Please refrain from using chemicals as this may cause unevenness.
  • If rain or hand marks turn black, they are not dirt but a chemical change and cannot be wiped off. These marks pile up to create an antique look. Over time, as the overall color deepens, the marks will become less noticeable, so please keep an eye on them for a while.
  • If you are concerned about discoloration or patterns caused by water splashes and would like to restore the item to its original condition, you can use a metal polish such as Pical. However, please note that the texture will be different from that at the time of delivery.
  • Many detergents and chemicals can have an adverse effect on metals, so if you are using them for maintenance, please be sure to read the instructions for use printed on the product carefully before use.
