Scoop, drain, serve.
A simple and beautiful cooking spoon that feels the warmth of wood
The "NIDO" perforated cooking spoon, made from solid teak wood, is luxuriously crafted with the robust quality unique to teak, a high-grade wood also used in ships and building materials. The natural texture and smooth feel of the wood provide comfort with every use, adding a touch of luxury to your daily life.
"Scoop, drain, serve."
This cooking tool, with a long handle and spoon-like tip, is a versatile tool incorporating elements of a turner, chopsticks, and ladle. Its convenience lies in being able to scoop and stir ingredients, performing various tasks with just one tool.
The perforated cooking spoon has multiple small holes at the tip, allowing you to firmly scoop only the ingredients, making it convenient for serving stir-fries and stews. It is also reliable when you want to drain water while serving, such as lifting yudofu (tofu hot pot) or draining penne pasta. It fits comfortably in your hand during cooking, providing a pleasant tactile response.
All are handcrafted by artisans, with clean and beautiful edges. The design is refined rather than rugged, aiming for a sophisticated atmosphere.
The beauty of teak deepens while accompanying your daily life
Teak wood, excellent in workability and durability, undergoes aging changes with its natural oils, transforming its surface into a unique amber color. The more you use it, the deeper the amber color becomes, developing a one-of-a-kind texture in the world.
You can enjoy the beautiful grain unique to teak and its smooth texture. The natural wood's charm also includes increased luster and deeper color tones with use. Regular care with food-safe oil will help maintain its texture longer.
The simple yet distinctive design makes it useful not only for cooking but also at the dining table. You can enjoy it as an item that brings the warmth of wood into your daily life, not just during cooking time.

Precautions
- There are individual differences in wood grain and color. Also, due to handcrafting, weight, thickness, and size may vary even for the same size.
- Foods with high oil content or strong pigments may cause stains or discoloration. It is recommended to avoid using it with such foods as much as possible.
- For daily care, wipe with a soft dry cloth or a tightly wrung cloth. Neutral detergent can be used, but wash with a soft sponge if possible, and after washing, promptly wipe with a dry cloth and dry thoroughly.
- Avoid soaking, boiling sterilization, and using a dishwasher.
- Do not expose directly to air conditioners, heaters, or direct sunlight.
- Teak wood adjusts moisture in the air and repeatedly expands and contracts. Therefore, moisture content may change depending on the usage environment, causing slight changes in size and shape. Also, due to the nature of natural wood, minor looseness or cracks may appear, but these are natural characteristics of the wood and difficult to avoid. Please understand this in advance.
