To Jansen who loves milk tea. A mug with a story

Among the daily repeated use tableware, the mug cup is a particularly personal item. This series was born from the idea that a mug is a beloved item that reflects the person who uses it.

We commissioned potteries across Japan to create unique 'my mug' that utilizes the materials and techniques characteristic of each production area.
The naming of the mugs contains a story, and it is a product that you can use with affection, like a "friend" or "partner," while relating to that story.
It also features a wide mouth that is easy to use not only for drinks but also for soups.

About the Product

  • A matte glaze is applied to give the surface texture. Compared to glossy glaze, it is more prone to staining. Please be careful not to leave drinks like coffee, which easily stain, for a long time.
  • Since it is finished by hand, each piece has different expressions such as color shades and unevenness.
  • Due to the nature of the glaze, strong rubbing with metal may cause pencil-like scratches, so please be careful.
  • If tea stains occur, please use commercially available bleach, baking soda, or a melamine sponge.
