A mug with a flat rim and an octagonal bottom. The delicate form and the mismatch with the rough glaze that looks like a different material are key points.
Colors are available in White, Gray, and Brass.
A special white only for the Octagonal Cup & Saucer and Mug. We used a glossy, warm, slightly yellowish white glaze. It gives an impression closer to the white color of French antique vessels.
A lovely bluish-gray with a patina like copper verdigris. The subtle colors where brown, blue, and white blend and change in the kiln are unique, painting a beautiful scene on the vessel's surface. Perfect for a cool-themed table coordination.
Brass color with a pale hue and texture reminiscent of antique metal tableware, which is hard to believe is ceramic. The color of the vessel gradually changes with use due to oil and acid, truly a vessel that matures. The aging change is also a color to look forward to.
A delightful point is that it highlights the colors of the ingredients and dishes it is paired with.
The rim is not thick and has a moderate opening, allowing you to enjoy tea or coffee with a pleasant mouthfeel. We hope you will savor this antique-style vessel that you won't get tired of even with daily use.
