Polar Bear Glass Object

"Polar Bear Glass Object": A polar bear captured in transparent glass

This clear glass object was inspired by the unique characteristics of the polar bear. A polar bear's fur consists of transparent, straw-like strands that capture light, giving it a white appearance. The "Polar Bear Glass Object" interprets this unique structure through the use of light and air bubbles. The bubbles suspended within the clear glass and the rounded silhouette quietly evoke the form of a polar bear.

Handcrafted one by one by artisans, the internal bubbles create a unique effect, as if they are slowly rising within the body. When light hits the object, the bubbles delicately reflect it, offering different expressions depending on the viewing angle and placement. It is an object that allows you to enjoy both the lightness unique to clear glass and the quiet presence that glass itself possesses.

Its rounded form suggests a posture like a bear peering at the water's surface from atop a drifting ice floe. While the plump silhouette is charming, the texture of the clear glass ensures it doesn't look overly sweet.

Available in two sizes: Small and Large. You can display one on its own, or arrange different sizes together to create a charming, parent-and-child-like scene.

It also features a pleasant weight unique to glass, ensuring stability when placed. Whether displayed on a sideboard, cabinet, or entryway, it adds a sense of calm and a quiet presence to your space.

Inspired by the mechanics of nature, the "Polar Bear Glass Object" represents the polar bear through transparent glass and internal air bubbles. It is a glass object with a story to enjoy, born from the fusion of nature-inspired concepts and expert craftsmanship.
