"Capt Chair" is named after the abbreviation "Cap" of the Windsor-style Camp Ten chair, which is the design's roots. This armchair is made to be as simple as possible using bent wood technology, with not a single unnecessary part.
The backrest with integrated arms and the rear legs that extend smoothly are made from a single piece of bent wood, creating a masterpiece that is both supple and strong. Although it is a simple chair, it is full of the skills of Hida Takayama craftsmen.
The more you care for it and enjoy its changes over time, the more attractive it will become and the longer you can use it. The timeless and simple design goes well with vintage furniture.
One of the unique features and attention to detail of this chair, which is carefully manufactured one by one, is the seat board. The seat has a counterbore process that prevents you from feeling tired even when sitting for long periods of time, and it has a fit that feels like it gently supports your entire buttocks when you sit. The moderate inclination and backrest are well balanced. The arms provide firm support for your arms when you lean back, giving you a more relaxed sitting experience.
