Since its founding in 1962, Hotta Carpet has been manufacturing Wilton carpets woven using the historic Wilton loom, which was created during the British Industrial Revolution (1760-1830). Using rare British wool, each product is made with particular attention to the wool's origin, sheep breed, and manufacturing method. Fisherman's Court is a Wilton carpet, woven by craftsmen called "weavers" on looms from the 1960s that are still carefully maintained and used with care.

Cotton dyeing

We use ``cotton dyed'' thread that is dyed in the cotton state and then turned into thread. It is carefully made using human hands. By using a highly ranked dyeing technique, it creates a mixed feel and a richly expressive finish.

British wool from the UK is a rare and valuable wool. This product has passed the strict standards set by the British government and is tagged with a trademark tag that is only given to products of superior quality.

Artisanal hand-tufted construction

This is a custom-made item that is made by a single craftsman who carefully hammers piles into the canvas at equal intervals. It is characterized by its solid thickness and density. The clean finish with no overlapping edges is unique to the hand-tufted manufacturing method.

Five types of wool and two types of pile

The wool from the five countries is expressed in its original color without being dyed. There are two types of pile: "Cut pile" which has a smooth feel and "Loop pile" which has a high elasticity. It is tailored to bring out the characteristics of each wool.

Available in three shapes and a wide range of sizes

You can choose from three shapes: square, oval, and circle. There are 10 sizes of squares, 2 sizes of ovals, and 3 sizes of circles. You can choose the size that best suits your room.

ウィルトンカーペット

Knitting ウールラグは今でもメンテナンスを繰り返しながら大切に使われている1960年代の織機で「織工」と呼ばれる職人によって織り上げられた織り物、ウィルトンカーペットです。

綿染め（わたぞめ）

綿の状態での染色後に糸にする「綿染め」の糸を使用。人の手を介しながら丁寧に作られています。染色の中でもランクの高い技術でつくることにより、ミックス感が生まれ表情豊かに仕上がります。

5か国の羊毛は染色は行わずそのままの色で表現。パイルは滑らかな感触の「カットパイル」と、弾力性の高さを感じる「ループパイル」の2種類。それぞれの羊毛の特徴を引き立てる仕立てになっています。
