Vintage Chair Exhibition
The "Vintage Chair Exhibition" will be held at our Izumi store from June 6th (Sat).
Vintage chairs that have been passed down through generations have been re-upholstered and reborn as new pieces. They retain their original character while being adapted for modern living.
Vintage chairs possess a timeless charm that transcends eras and borders. The texture that develops with age and use, the expertly designed forms. A favorite chair is sure to become a special presence in any room.
Chairs made with valuable deadstock fabrics from long-established Danish textile manufacturers "Kjellerup Vaeveri" and "DANISH ART WEAVING" will also be available as limited-edition items for this exhibition. Fabrics that are now difficult to acquire have been re-upholstered by the hands of skilled furniture craftsmen.
During the exhibition, you can also view vintage dining tables and single-seater sofas by "ERCOL" from the UK, which are not usually available in-store. Please visit the Izumi store to find your own favorite chair.
