Tribal Rug Fair

February 17 (Sat) - March 10 (Sun)

A fair featuring hand-woven tribal rugs will begin on Saturday, February 17th at ANTRY Izumi.

Tribal rugs are nomadic rugs in which traditional wisdom and techniques are carefully woven into patterns on each piece. The design and rich color tones are attractive, reflecting the intentions of the weavers who sought color in their daily lives.

Because there are no two identical pieces in the world, many people collect them, and they are also popular because they are once-in-a-lifetime items. The hand-woven rugs painstakingly created by nomads reflect the individuality and playfulness of the weavers, and are a pleasure to look at.

At this fair, we plan to stock items in a variety of patterns, with a focus on sizes suitable for living rooms and dining rooms. We look forward to seeing you there.
